It is dedicated to the people of West Africa and to their children, with respect and affection.

published in September 2003. Until that time the Odi stories will no longer be available on this site. Sorry!
Odi (The Other Africa)contains
16 stories set in the rainforest
village of Akai Isong in southeastern
Nigeria. These stories show facets
of life in Africa that are seldom
written about and rarely appreciated:
a more human way of life, full of joy
and innocence and wisdom.
